How do I enroll my child at Focus Eyecare?
The program begins with a two-part evaluation: a specialized eye exam and a consultation with visual perceptual testing and goal setting. The consultation includes assessment of gross/fine motor abilities and infantile reflexes, eye movement skills, awareness of left/right, visual memory skills, visual processing skills and more.
How much does Focus Eyecare Vision Therapy cost?

Does Focus Eyecare accept insurance?
Many insurance companies are paying for vision therapy based upon the patient's diagnosis. We are able to offer assistance to help you to verify benefits. We can accept Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network insurance directly in most cases.
What kind of time commitment does Focus Eyecare require?
Students of Focus Eyecare typically attend sessions 1-2 times weekly. Each session is 40 minutes in duration. Additionally, homework exercises require approximately 15-20 minutes 4-5 days per week.
Each Focus Eyecare member begins with a program of 12 sessions. After 12 sessions, a progress evaluation takes place and a determination to continue therapy or graduate will be made. Generally, students attend a total of 24 - 36 sessions for vision therapy and academics/cognitive retraining.
When is Focus Eyecare open?
Focus Eyecare is open 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Thursday and Fridays by appointment only.
What is Focus Eyecare's cancellation policy?
The office requires a 24 hour cancellation notice for any missed appointments. We are understanding and will work with you to reschedule a missed session. Missing your session without calling to cancel 24 hours
ahead of time will result in a $40 fee.
